OPERATIONAL REVIEW

Before we build anything, we understand how your operation actually works.

From: decisions based on assumptions about where time goes and what is slowing things down.

To: a documented picture of your operation with a prioritised roadmap showing exactly what to fix, in what order, and what it will cost.

WHAT YOU GET

A structured review, not a sales pitch.

The Operational Review is a paid engagement with a deliverable. We spend time with your team, map how work actually moves through your business, identify where time and capacity are being lost, and produce a prioritised roadmap.

You own the report outright. If you want us to build what the report recommends, the review fee is credited in full against the first engagement. If you do not, you keep the report and owe nothing further.

DELIVERABLES

What the report contains.

Process map

How work actually moves through your business today. Not the version on the intranet. The real one, with the workarounds, the bottlenecks, and the handoff points that rely on one person being available.

Time and cost analysis

Where senior time is being absorbed by coordination, status chasing, and tasks that should not require their involvement. Quantified, not estimated.

Risk and dependency register

Which processes depend on specific individuals. What happens when they are unavailable. Where institutional knowledge lives in someone's head rather than in a system.

Prioritised roadmap

What to fix first, what to fix next, and what can wait. Sequenced by impact, not by complexity. Each recommendation scoped with an estimated build cost so you can plan with confidence.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps to a clear picture.

01

Discovery call

30 minutes. We listen to how your operation runs, what frustrates you, and where you think the problems are. No preparation needed.

02

Operational review

We spend time with your team. Not just leadership. The people who do the work. We map the processes, interview the key players, and document how things actually happen versus how they are supposed to happen.

03

Report and roadmap

You receive a written report: process maps, time analysis, risk register, and a prioritised roadmap. We walk you through it. You own the report outright, regardless of what happens next.

04

Decision

If you want to proceed with a build, the £1,500 review fee is credited in full against the first engagement. If you do not, you keep the report and owe nothing further.

WHO THIS IS FOR

The right starting point if any of this sounds familiar.

"Everything is in someone's head. If a key person left tomorrow, we would be in trouble."

"We have grown but our systems have not. What worked at ten people is breaking at thirty."

"I spend Monday morning chasing status updates instead of making decisions."

"We know something needs to change but we are not sure where to start."

Typically one to two weeks from the initial discovery call to the delivered report. The time spent with your team is usually one to two sessions, depending on the complexity of the operation.

No. The review is a standalone engagement. You receive the report and roadmap regardless. There is no obligation to proceed with anything further.

Either. Most reviews are conducted remotely via video calls with your team. On-site visits can be arranged for London and the South East. The output is the same.

Ideally the person who owns the operation (MD, COO, Ops Director) and two or three people who do the day-to-day work. We keep the time commitment short. Usually two sessions of 45 minutes each.

If you have a specific workflow or agent in mind, you can skip the review and go straight to a pilot. The discovery call will tell us whether a review adds value or whether we can scope directly.
