ENGINEERING

The technical build behind the operation you are trying to run.

Data pipelines, system integrations, dashboards, and custom applications. Each one scoped around your actual operation, not a generic platform you configure yourself. We build the infrastructure that keeps your systems connected and your team focused on the work that matters.

Before

  • Data lives in five different systems and none of them agree
  • Your team is the integration layer between tools
  • Reporting takes hours to assemble from multiple sources
  • Internal tools are spreadsheets that have outgrown themselves

After

  • Data moves between systems automatically
  • Systems stay in sync without manual effort
  • Operational reporting updates itself in real time
  • Purpose-built tools that fit how your team actually works

What We Build

Four capabilities. Each one scoped to your operation.

Data Pipelines

Reliable, automated movement of data between your systems. No more manual exports, copy-pasting between tools, or reconciliation spreadsheets. Data flows where it needs to go, on time, every time.

When you need this

Your team spends hours moving data between systems manually, or decisions are delayed because information sits in the wrong place.

Outcome

Clean, reliable data flow between every system your operation depends on.

Integrations & Connected Systems

API and system integrations that make your tech stack actually talk to each other. CRM to project management. Finance system to reporting. Inbound enquiry to onboarding workflow. We connect the tools you already use so your team stops being the glue.

When you need this

Your team is the integration layer, manually updating one system when something changes in another.

Outcome

Systems that stay in sync without anyone needing to update them.

Dashboards & Analytics

Operational reporting built on real data from your systems. Live visibility into what matters, pipeline, workload, revenue, capacity, without logging into five different tools to piece together a picture.

When you need this

Leadership relies on asking people for updates, or you spend every Monday morning building a report from multiple sources.

Outcome

A single view of your operation that updates itself.

Custom Applications

Internal tools, client portals, and operational applications purpose-built for how your team actually works. Not an off-the-shelf platform that roughly fits. Not a spreadsheet that has outgrown itself. Software built around your specific operation.

When you need this

Your team has outgrown the tools they are using, or you need something that does not exist as a platform.

Outcome

Software that fits your operation instead of forcing your operation to fit the software.

Our Process

How It Gets Built.

01

Scope

We define exactly what needs to be built, what systems are involved, and what the outcome looks like. The price is agreed before any work begins. No ambiguity, no open-ended discovery phases.

02

Build

We build against the agreed specification in your environment. You see progress throughout. Nothing ships without your sign-off.

03

Deploy

We deploy, test against real data, and hand over with full documentation. Your team is trained before we leave.

How This Fits

Engineering work sits alongside everything else we deliver.

Some firms come to us for a dashboard or an integration on its own. Others start with a workflow system and then need a data pipeline to feed it, or a dashboard to report on it. Engineering work is scoped independently but designed to connect with everything else in your operation.

You do not need to be running a Delancy workflow system or AI agent to engage us for engineering work. If your systems need connecting, your data needs moving, or your team needs a tool that does not exist yet, that is enough.

Why Delancy

What makes this different from hiring a dev shop.

We understand your operation first

We do not just take a spec and build to it. We understand the operation behind the request. That means the system we build solves the actual problem, not just the one described in a brief.

Price agreed before build begins

No day rates. No open-ended scoping. The price is agreed in the proposal and does not change. You know what you are paying before any work begins.

Built to connect, not to isolate

Everything we build is designed to work with your existing systems and with any workflow or AI agent we deliver alongside it. No silos. No standalone tools that create more manual work.

No ongoing dependency

Full documentation at handover. No lock-in. You can run it, modify it, or bring someone else in to maintain it. Optional support retainers are available but never required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions.

Not necessarily. Some firms come to us for a dashboard or an integration without needing a full workflow system. Others start with a workflow and then add a dashboard or data pipeline later. Each engagement is scoped independently.

Yes. We work with whatever your team is already running. Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, Xero, QuickBooks, and most CRMs, ERPs, and sector-specific platforms. If it has an API, we can connect it.

It depends on scope. A single integration or dashboard typically takes two to four weeks. A custom application or multi-system data pipeline may take four to eight weeks. The timeline is confirmed in the proposal before any commitment.

Minor amendments are handled as part of the engagement. Significant scope changes are treated as a separate piece of work, scoped and priced before anything is built. The original project price does not change.

No. We need access to the people who understand the operation, not a technical team. If there is an existing IT team or vendor managing your systems, we coordinate with them directly.
